Assessing projects - Using the Intel Assessment Tool Application

When assessment drives teaching and learning, learners learn more and become more confident, self-directed learners. Assessing Projects helps teachers create assessments that address 21st Century skills and provides strategies to make assessment an integral part of their teaching and helps learners understand content more deeply, think at higher levels, and become self-directed learners. During this hands-on workshop, you will develop familiarity with the Assessing Projects tool and resources and work with and identify assessments appropriate for use with their R-12 learners.

Using Intel Teach Thinking Tools to Promote Higher Order Thinking in the Classroom

Intel has many resources to help teachers implement projects in the classroom. The Intel® Thinking Tools are interactive online tools which can be easily set up by the teacher to help learners “see” the topic they are working with in a visual way. In this workshop, teachers will have the opportunity to experience working with the tools live and to see how they support Higher Order Thinking
