Moodle – Possibilities for School Use
Moodle is a useful VLE that has the potential to be used in school education. The WCED has successfully used the Moodle for a blended f2f/online ICT training in WebQuest and Intel® Teach Essentials. Delegates will login to a live Moodle site, and experience a range of tools that could be used in the teaching/learning process. E.g. Forums & Chats (online collaboration); uploading a document (digital drop box); completing an online quiz / assessment; access resources; do a simulation. Many of the tools can be accessed via a mobile phone as well and delegates will have the opportunity to use their phones.
